Summer Internship Grant

SUMMER INTERNSHIP GRANT
The Villanova University Career Center is excited to offer Summer Internship Grants to eligible undergraduate and graduate students pursuing unpaid or low paying summer internships. The maximum award amount is $5,000 per student. Applicants will be evaluated on need, the experience and how closely the experience fits with career goals. Applicants will be notified of decisions after the close of each application cycle. Disbursements of funds is managed by the Bursars Office. See complete Eligibility Guidelines here.

NOTE: Summer Internship grants cannot be applied to tuition balances or other expenses i.e. tuition, education abroad, professional school admission exam preparation, medical bills, or certification/license fees. Summer Internship experiences occurring after a student graduates will not be eligible.

Please be aware: the amount you may receive in this grant could potentially impact the amount of your current financial aid. We strongly recommend that you reach out to the Office of Financial Assistance at finaid@villanova.edu to check in with them before accepting any additional grant dollars.

*A low paying internship is defined as one with a salary that is less than the amount required to pay for necessary expenses (e.g. housing, food, etc.) during the time of the internship.

**This grant opportunity may close earlier than the posted application period dates if available funds have been distributed.
